Why I would love to be a part of the Ethridge McGann Group

Always keeping tabs on the design scene across the Northeast—from Connecticut to Maine, and especially around the Cape Cod area—has only deepened my appreciation for the incredible talent in this part of the country. (By the way, congratulations on your new client, LaBarge Homes!) As the design world continues to evolve, so does the way interior designers operate. More and more, they’re becoming their own brands—often without even realizing it. A well-crafted, authentic, and creative brand can truly elevate their business, and I’m excited by the idea of helping bring that kind of clarity and strategy to designers who are doing such inspiring work.

I think the interiors designers you work with are at a really pivotal moment right now, and can really be designers that people talk about in the way they talk about Sister Parish, Bunny Williams, and other design fixtures. I can see them having partnerships with PEAK, a leading luxury event planning rental company for linens & decor, or parterning with a specific event designer such as Easton Events. There is so much to expand on and I would love to be able to contribute my knowlege, but most importantly learn from you.

I know firsthand how much time and energy goes into creating beautiful, functional spaces—and how often PR and marketing, something that I believe a designer not only needs, but deserves, take a backseat simply because there aren’t enough hours in the day, or enough team bandwidth. But the truth is, bringing a picture-perfect room to life takes more than just a good eye—it takes meticulous planning, creating and nurturing relationships, expertise communication, storytelling, and a deep understanding of what resonates with people. My gained knowledge of the interior design process made me realize we need more cheerleaders out there, and I want to be one of them with you.
